Year-End IPAC Skills Audit for All Staff

The Year-End IPAC Skills Audit for All Staff evaluates whether a long-term care home meets the requirements of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 and O. Reg. 246/22, s. 102, which requires the IPAC Lead to plan, deliver, track, and monitor IPAC training and staff competency. Qualified IPAC Consultants perform competency assessments and provide documented feedback to confirm that all staff can perform the required IPAC practices, as per regulatory requirements.

A summary report outlines the home’s compliance status and any actions needed to meet regulatory expectations.

Deliverables:

  • Multiple on-site visits to complete in-person audits
  • Documented audits for all staff who are observed
  • Executive summary report outlining strengths and areas for improvement
  • Action plans and deliverables, based on findings
