This course is designed for both workers and supervisors, teaching you about the obligations of employers and employees in promoting accessibility and how to identify and address barriers in the workplace.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the purpose and requirements of the AODA and IASR.
- Recognize the various types of barriers individuals with disabilities may face.
- Learn the roles and responsibilities of both workers and employers in meeting accessibility standards.
- Identify strategies for removing or preventing accessibility barriers in the workplace.
This one-hour instructor-led course allows workers to participate in a dynamic, interactive experience focused on adult learning principles. After finishing the course, participants will take an assessment quiz, and a passing score of 80% will earn them a certificate of completion.
