Hand Wash Stations in Columbia
In 2022, we established over 100 hand wash stations across Columbia, providing educational materials, transportation, soap, and antibacterial gel, all made possible by our donation to Compassion Canada. These initiatives directly benefited 34,500 children from 103 Compassion centers. The hand wash stations are crucial for promoting hygiene and preventing the spread of diseases, empowering communities to prioritize their health.
This initiative has significantly improved hand washing practices, with the community embracing these essential habits. As a result, there has been a notable reduction in illnesses, including stomach, skin, and respiratory diseases.
Previously, inadequate facilities hindered effective hand washing, particularly for young children. With the new stations in place, we can now effectively teach participants the importance of washing hands before meals, emphasizing the harmful bacteria that can be eliminated through this practice.
This intervention not only supports disease prevention but also raises awareness about the health risks associated with poor hygiene. By fostering a culture of cleanliness, we equip individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect their health and that of their community.

Empowering Female Entrepreneurs
In 2023, IPAC Consulting made impactful donations to support the Opportunity International network, which provided mentorship, resources, and essential support to female entrepreneurs in developing countries. This collaboration aims to help these women start and grow their businesses, contributing to economic development and advancing gender equality.
Opportunity International empowers entrepreneurs through financial services, training, and support to create sustainable livelihoods and stimulate local economies. They address barriers to education—access and quality—by offering loans to parents and schools and enhancing the skills of school leaders and teachers.
They also upskill female microfinance clients as Community Health Leaders, enabling them to educate their neighbors, resulting in improvements in nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, and illness prevention. Additionally, they use innovative, high-touch, high-tech solutions to help individuals lift themselves out of poverty, including digital financial services, ultra-poor graduation programs, agricultural services, climate-focused initiatives, women-centered resources, youth apprenticeships, and women’s mentorship.
Through these initiatives, IPAC Consulting is proud to empower women and foster economic growth while addressing critical community issues.
