
Workplace Violence and Harassment Training (In-Person)
Workplace violence and harassment can have serious consequences for employees and the overall work environment. These issues can disrupt communication, reduce productivity, lower morale, and negatively impact employees’ well-being.
Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), employers are required to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and programs addressing workplace violence and harassment (WVH). This course goes beyond legal requirements to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the key components involved in effectively managing a Workplace Violence and Harassment Policy and Program.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Define key terms related to workplace violence and harassment
- Identify factors that contribute to violence and harassment in the workplace
- Recognize common sources of workplace violence and harassment
- Understand and explain the definition and components of sexual harassment
- Identify legislative requirements related to workplace violence and harassment
Course Material
Participants will receive a manual, a wall certificate, and a record of attendance.
