Our Long-Term Care (LTC) Division partners with homes across Canada to strengthen IPAC programs, enhance compliance, and create safer environments for residents and staff.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager of Long-Term Care Services to lead this division, oversee consultants, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive exceptional client outcomes. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, client engagement, and business development.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Quality Control
- Oversee and support a team of LTC IPAC consultants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor quality assurance across audits, policies, and compliance programs.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance on IPAC and H&S standards.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary contact for key LTC clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive problem-solving.
- Address escalated issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Foster strong relationships by going the extra mile to deliver outstanding client experiences.
Business Development & Growth
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the LTC sector.
- Build strategic relationships with LTC leaders, associations, and prospective clients.
- Represent IPAC Consulting at LTC conferences, trade shows, and events to promote services and close new contracts.
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Collaborate with leadership to develop new services aligned with LTC needs and evolving regulations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives for greater efficiency and client value.
What We’re Looking For
- Certification:
- Must hold LTC-CIP (Long-Term Care Certified Infection Preventionist) designation at time of hire (required under Ontario Reg. 246/22).
- Education:
- Post-secondary education in Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) or a health-related discipline.
- Experience:
- Strong background in LTC IPAC compliance and Health & Safety.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Business development experience with a track record of achieving growth goals.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a client-focused, fast-paced environment.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed prior to employment.
- TB screening and up-to-date immunizations as per healthcare standards.
- Willingness to travel within Canada for client visits and events.
