As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Junior IPAC & Health & Safety Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety and compliance, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to diverse projects that make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
You will work closely with clients and our senior team to deliver IPAC and H&S solutions, conduct assessments, and support education initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Consulting & Compliance Support
- Assist clients in developing, implementing, and maintaining IPAC and Health & Safety programs.
- Conduct on-site assessments, risk/hazard analyses, and accident investigations with actionable recommendations.
- Prepare reports, policy manuals, and other client deliverables.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and provide improvement strategies
Education & Training
- Support the development and delivery of IPAC and H&S training for clients.
- Assist with creating educational products and client-specific policies and procedures.
Business Development
- Build and maintain client relationships while ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Represent IPAC Consulting at trade shows, speaking engagements, and key events as a brand ambassador.
- Identify and support new business opportunities.
Leadership & Growth
- Contribute to the planning and development of new programs aligned with company priorities.
- Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to professional excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (e.g., biology, microbiology, public health).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attitude: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
- Other:
- Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license (frequent travel within Canada required).
- Ability to obtain Long-Term Care Certified Infection Preventionist (LTC-CIP) designation within 6 months of hire (company will provide support for certification).
- French language skills are an asset.
